The Belarusian State Academy of Music is a leading institution of higher education in the field of musical art in the national education system of the Republic of Belarus with a 90-year history, which has a well-deserved international authority and recognition.

The Academy implements educational programs for the retraining of executives and specialists with higher education in the following specialties: 1-16 01 71 Academic singing, 1-16 01 72 Interpretation of early music, 1-16 01 73 Accompaniment Mastery, 1-16 01 74 Conducting.

The Academy includes 5 faculties, a preparatory department, 18 departments, training is conducted in more than 30 areas of various specialties. More than 1000 students study at the Academy, of which 235 are foreign citizens.

The Belarusian State Academy of Music is one of the largest scientific centers in the field of the humanities – musicology, folklore studies, musical pedagogy. More than half of the scientific and creative employees of the Academy are awarded honorary titles, more than 70% have academic degrees and academic titles.

The Belarusian State Academy of Music has signed 76 cooperation agreements and with the leading institutions of higher music education in Europe and Asia.

The Academy takes an active part in the activities of international organizations and associations: it is a member of the European Association of Conservatories, Music Academies and Higher Schools of Music AEC (Belgium), the International Musicological Society IMS (Switzerland), the Organization for International Cooperation in the Field of Arts (Germany) and others.
